Supporting Cancer Council in 20211 min read

This year Mike from Liquid Digital will be participating in The Shitbox Rally to raise money for the Cancer Council of Australia.

 

The Shitbox Rally is not a race, rather a challenge to achieve the unthinkable… To drive cars worth less than $1,000 across Australia via some of its most formidable roads, all in the name of charity.

Many of us have been affected by cancer in one way or another. Whether it be parents, close family friends, people we know or ourselves that have battled or are battling cancer, this awful disease has touched us all.

Each team that takes part must raise a minimum of $8,000 to participate in the rally. 

The rally this year for us will be epic – travelling from Sydney to the Gold Coast for the start, then ending in Alice Springs – utilising mainly outback dirt roads. 

The good news is we’ll be doing this in a highly unsuitable vehicle (which could be considered as part of the fun).
